Bring Back the Emails - Pt. 1 - How to Build Your Email List

Email is back, baby!

Your email list isn’t dead. Your content just isn’t landing.

If you’re seeing low open rates, no clicks, and more unsubscribes than sign-ups, it’s not because email itself is outdated. It’s because your message isn’t resonating with your contact list!

The good news? You can change that. But it all starts with building a bangin' email list!

1. Create a lead magnet people actually want

Not a vague checklist or a 50-page PDF no one will read. Think:

  • A one-page guide that solves a common problem

  • A short quiz with personalized results

  • A mini email course that delivers quick wins

Make it relevant, specific, and easy to consume. And make it easy to access by putting it on your website.

2. Promote it more than once

Your opt-in isn’t too quiet — you’re just not sharing it enough. Post it regularly on social, link it in your bio, pin it to your profile, mention it in conversations, add it to your email signature. Repetition = results.

3. Put it where people are already looking

Think beyond your homepage:

  • Add a signup form to blog posts

  • Use exit-intent popups (yes, they still work)

  • Offer it in DMs when people ask questions
