Founder & Marketing Executive, Rebel Collective

I’m Emma Scott — a marketing executive and storyteller who’s spent the past decade helping organizations in construction, workforce development, and purpose-driven industries turn their mission into measurable impact.

Before founding Rebel Collective, I built my career inside the trades — leading marketing and communications for organizations that shape the future of workforce development. Along the way, I’ve launched brands, built digital ecosystems, and created strategies that connect people to opportunity.

My work began more than ten years ago helping executives refine their LinkedIn presence — long before “personal branding” was common practice. What started as a way to help leaders show up online evolved into a full-scale marketing career grounded in strategy, storytelling, and community building.

I earned my degree in English and Writing with a minor in Graphic Design from Duquesne University, a foundation that shaped my approach to blending message, design, and meaning.

I’ve also had the privilege of amplifying industry voices as the host of the Build Your Path podcast with the Maryland Center for Construction Education and Innovation (MCCEI), a platform dedicated to highlighting the people and stories driving change in construction, workforce development, and community impact.

At Rebel Collective, we believe in marketing that moves — strategy that looks as good as it performs, stories that inspire action (and employment!) and brands that build something bigger than themselves.
